  • 'Never Forget' (9-11 song written by Firefighter; IAFF Local 1951)   The song 'Never Forget', performed by Laurie Broadway and the 32-piece Pete Moore Orchestra, was written by a professional firefighter during the week of 9-11-01. In remembrance of 9-11, the song and lyrics are currently available online at www.ryanmusic.com as a free download during the month of September.

  • CHAMPLAIN VALLEY K-9 SEARCH AND RESCUE UNIT
    - We are a non profit K9 search and rescue team specialized with the working dog and support personnel to search for and rescue lost or missing persons within a hundred-mile radius of Keeseville, New York, which borders the state of Vermont and Canada. As an active K9 team we are specifically trained to assist with land and water searches, as well as natural or man made disasters in which people may be trapped or missing.

    - In conjunction with the non-profit 9-1-1 Foundation, volunteers are selling bright red metallic bracelets with an image of an authentic New York fire helmet and the words, "IN MEMORY OF OUR HEROES WHO SACRIFICED SO MUCH 9-11-01 FDNY.

  • Long View Fire Department
    - Long View Fire Department! Located in the western Piedmont region of North Carolina, we provide fire protection services for approximately 6,000 people in a 6.5 square mile area which includes the Town of Long View as well as a small portion of non-municipal territory in Catawba County. Our current ISO rating is 4 in the municipal district and 9 in the county areas.
